Every creature born with a special abilities. That is a curiosity. According to Google, a curiosity is a strong desire to know or learn something. But as time goes by, this abilities is decreased. There are so many cases that make it decreased. One of them is because our environment and education.
For this case i wanna argue about education. In my opinion, our education can kill our creativity and curiosity. Why? It is because in class, students less given an opportunity to speak his mind. They just sitting down and listening teacher's speak.
Although in curriculum 2013, the students are given so many role to explore the material in the classroom especially with discussion, and the teacher just steer it. But I think, it cannot be applied to all areas in Indonesia, moreover in rural area.
As you know every child has it's own skill and passion. We cannot tamper-box their mind. So I think the best solution, first we've to train the teacher so that they are not just teaching material but also developing student skill and passion. Then, every school must have their own curriculum depend on their condition and environment.
This article is personally my own, so this is my opinion about our education system. I wish someday, there will be a better education system which is developed by the best person for our country. :)
